Frequently Asked Questions

Answers To Commonly Questions

Are you a care agency?

Do your carers have checks?

Yes. All carers are DBS-checked, referenced, and personally interviewed.

Do I pay VAT?

No. Our fees are VAT-exempt.

Can you replace my carer if they’re sick?

We can’t guarantee it, but we will try to find a backup for you.

What makes TrustMatch Care Ltd better than a traditional agency?

With us, you stay in control. You choose your carer, avoid VAT, and benefit from transparent pricing. Our flexible, non-managed model gives you more freedom and better value.

How are payments handled?

We handle all invoicing for your convenience. You pay one invoice that separates the carer's fee and our agency support fee. We then pass the carer's payment on directly to them.

Are the carers insured?

All carers are self-employed and are required to have their own public liability insurance before being introduced to clients.

Can I choose who I work with?

Absolutely. Whether you're a client or a carer, the relationship is always by mutual agreement. There is no obligation to accept a match.

What happens if I want to employ the carer directly?

You can do so after a minimum period of three months, subject to a one-off buy-out fee of £1,500. Otherwise, the introduction agreement remains in force.
